Thank you to all my Veterans, Soldiers and Families who fought for my Freedom, all of you are near and dear to me no matter where you are. I keep each and every one of you in my Heart, Thoughts and Prayers always.

Farmgirl Sister Special Gift

I wanted to share with all of you this beautiful gift I received in the mail today from a very special farmgirl Sister Connie (Killarney). All my dolls and toys were lost when I was just a little girl so to have this Barbie is so very special to me. My favorite color is blue just like her outfit,  and look at those shoes, her outfit is called "Mood for Music". I will treasure her always.
Connie, you touched my heart with your thoughtfulness and I thank you so very much.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Happy Mother's Day Everyone, I hope all of you Mothers and  Substitute Mothers have a Beautiful Blessed Day with your Family.

I would like to thank my Wonderful Son Kent for making me the happiest Mother in the world, I am so proud and Blessed to be your Mother. Thank you for spending the weekend with me, time spent with you is what is most precious to me, I do not care if we are playing games, talking, watching a movie it does not matter, it is all special.

Thank you for the beautiful bouquet of Lilies that are starting to open and my very special Mother's Day Card, I love them.

This is the fabulous "Glamping" Basket I found while we were on our Farmgirl Road Trip. It is different than other baskets I have seen and it was full of red, white and blue dishes, utensils and linens. Perfect for my "Glamping" Trip in August with the farmgirls.
Red, White and Blue are my colors when I am decorating as my birthday is in July and we are a very Patriotic Family, I start decorating on June 14th Flag Day and it all stays up through the end of July.
 I will add a handmade red, white and blue pillow to top it off.

Hubby thought I had enough baskets, I told him never!

I have been reading Karen Weir-Jimerson articles in Country Home Magazine and other for years. After Country Home stop publishing I missed her articles.
Well, I have finally found her again and her blog. She writes in Country Garden Magazine as well as others and has written a new book "So Much Sky", a collection of her articles.
So, for my Mother's Day Give Away will be Karen's new book.

Farmgirl Road Trip Was Fabuous!

Our Farmgirl Trip is over and I can say that Marilyn and I had a fabulous time. We were gone 5 days and we met some wonderful ladies along the way. Met up with my old friends Mary, Laura and Victoria in Montrose, Rain and family in Paonia, Laurie and son Wyatt from Hotchkiss, CJ and family from Dolores and sweet Sharon Demers. Every one was so gracious and welcoming and we always felt like we were home. And, the food, wow everyone sure know how to cook, and most of the food was grown and raised on their farms/homestead.
Plus we met some wonderful farm animals as you can see by the pictures they too welcomed us. 
So, thank you so much everyone and we look forward to our next visit. Remember if you are ever in our neck of the woods, all us our door will always be open.
